MaryElizabeth Dowell

MaryElizabeth Dowell assists Badgley Law Group in representing clients, drafting documents, and researching the vast array of complex issues that any case can bring. Born in Gainesville, Florida, she is a consummate Gator fan. She received Bachelor’s Degrees in Criminology, and Classical Studies summa cum laude, from the University of Florida, and received her law degree at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. MaryElizabeth worked in health education, researching illnesses and injuries and preparing that information for presentation to future healthcare professionals. She has worked previously as a legal assistant in Boca Raton, Florida for the Law Offices of Kanner & Pintaluga, reviewing the documentation for injuries suffered by victims of auto accidents and slip-and-fall cases, and preparing their demands to be sent to the insurance companies of those responsible. MaryElizabeth is passionate about working to make people whole again after they have been harmed by someone else’s negligence. She brings this fluency with medical and legal information and dedication to victim support to your case.

MaryElizabeth’s particular area of interest is mental health. She has served on the Executive Board of the University of Florida Levin College of Law’s Mental Health Law Association. She has observed the ways that mental health can complicate interactions with the legal system, and the ways that victims of personal injury cases can have their mental wellbeing suffer as a result of the strain their injuries can place on their lives.
